Does your writing need a wingman?
I’ve been writing ever since I could clutch a pen in my chubby little fist. Growing up, I got the reputation as the kid who always had the right words.
Case in point: my senior year of high school, I wrote three valedictorian speeches.
I was not a valedictorian.
I got my first freelance journalism gigs while I was still in high school, which opened up a novel concept:
I could get paid to write other people’s stories.
That turned into a career in local journalism, followed by a career as a marketing director.
During my corporate career, I got bored writing about the same thing over and over, even if it was kind of fun finding new, interesting ways to talk about boring products.
So I started ghostwriting as a side gig. The side gig became my main gig, and here we are.
You’ve got the ideas. I’ve got the words.
Most people who are brilliant in business are not brilliant writers. Which, historically, has been OK.
But today, content is king.
- Most B2B buyers consume 3 or more pieces of content before connecting with sales (Demand Gen Report)
- Almost three-quarters consider reputation the most important factor in choosing a vendor (LoSasso)
- Most buyers think all the brands trying to sell to them sound the same (Dentsu)
If you’re going to build your reputation and close sales, you need to have content. Full stop.
You need to be publishing articles, sharing videos, sending emails – and all that content needs a cohesive message, a coordinated strategy, and your brand’s fingerprints all over it.
It’s OK. I got you.
You don’t spend 10 years as a marketing director without understanding strategy, messaging, and positioning. I’ll keep you from wasting your time on content no one cares about.
You don’t spend a literal lifetime as a storyteller without developing an ear for each person and company’s unique voice: the cadences, the vocabulary, the emotional tone. When I ghostwrite, my writing style disappears. The finished piece sounds like you.
Let’s talk. If I can help you, I will. If I can’t, I’ll point you in the direction of resources that can.

10 Random Things About Me
- I’m a Leo on the Greek zodiac and born in the year of the sheep on the Chinese zodiac. So I’m both a lion and a lamb.
- I live an hour’s drive from one of the biggest metro areas in the US, but I can see a cornfield from my office window. #midwest
- I’m a boy mom, loud and proud.
- I drink black coffee and white wine (not at the same time).
- I’m a geek. My favorite fandoms are Doctor Who and Tolkien, but I am a fringe member of the Marvel, DC, and Star Wars fandoms as well. And thanks to my geeky family, I can hold up my end of a conversation about Star Trek, Legend of Zelda, Transformers, or Mario.
- When my high school and college classmates were taking Spanish, I decided to take German. It actually came in handy later in life when I spent three years working in the US office of a German company.
- I don’t run. If you see me running, you should run in the same direction, because either something scary is behind me or I heard an ice cream truck.
- I’m a dog person.
- I love musical theater. In my early teens, I briefly wanted to be a Broadway star.
- I’m notoriously clumsy, with a particular gift for falling up stairs and walking into door frames.
